Unemployment Claims Up 2K, Worse Than Estimates Expected

In the week ending September 7th, initial jobless claims were at a seasonally adjusted level of 230,000. This represents an increase of 2,000 from the previous week's figure and is worse than the 227,000 economists were expecting.
