Initial Unemployment Claims Drop to 3-Year Low

In the week ending November 29th, initial jobless claims were at a seasonally adjusted level of 191,000, the lowest level in over three years. This represents a decrease of 27,000 from the previous week's figure and was lower than the forecast of 219,000.
