Chicago Fed National Activity Index: Economic Growth Increased in September

The Chicago Fed National Activity Index (CFNAI) rose to -0.21 in September from -0.31 in August. Two of the four broad categories of indicators used to construct the index increased from August, and three categories made negative contributions in September.
