Richmond Manufacturing Index: Activity was Flat in March

Fifth district manufacturing activity was flat in March according to the most recent survey from the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. The composite manufacturing index rose ten points points to 0, marking the first nonnegative reading in over a year. This month's reading was above the forecast of -8.
