ISM Manufacturing PMI: Fastest Expansion Since 2022

The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) manufacturing purchasing managers index (PMI) came in at 52.7 in March, the fastest expansion for the index since August 2022. The latest reading was higher than the 52.3 forecast and marking the index's third straight month in expansion territory.
