Unemployment Claims Down 6K, Lower Than Expected

In the week ending March 29th, initial jobless claims were at a seasonally adjusted level of 219,000. This represents a decrease of 6,000 from the previous week's figure. The latest reading was lower than the 225,000 forecast.
