Durable Goods Orders Surge 16.4% in May

New orders for manufactured durable goods rose to $343.59B in May, its highest level in history. This represents a 16.4% increase from the previous month and a 19.8% rise from one year ago. The latest reading was nearly double than the projected 8.6% monthly increase.
