S&P Global Services PMI: Growth Remains Positive in August

The August U.S. Services Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) from S&P Global came in at 54.5, below the 55.4 forecast. The reading marks the 31st consecutive month of expansion and the second strongest growth of 2025 so far.

ISM Services PMI: Strongest Growth in Six Months

The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) released its August Services Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI), with the headline composite index at 52.0, the highest level in six months. This was higher than the forecast of 50.9 and keeps the index in expansion territory for a third straight month.
