Employment Report: 22K Jobs Added in August, Lower Than Expected

The latest employment report showed that 22,000 jobs were added in August, down from 79,000 in July and lower than the expected 75,000 addition. Meanwhile, the unemployment rate inched up to 4.3%, its highest level since 2021.
