Pending Home Sales Flat in September, Lower Than Expected

The National Association of Realtors® (NAR) pending home sales index remained at 74.8 in September, its highest level since March. The flat reading was lower than the expected 1.6% monthly increase and marks a -0.9% decline from one year ago.
